Leonard Robert Stott

Leonard is an experienced and passionate international educator who brings a dynamic and interdisciplinary approach to his teaching. With a Bachelor of Education in International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEPS) from Norway, Leonard has taught across the UAE in British curriculum schools, specialising in upper primary Science, Mathematics, and Humanities.

Leonard joined Middleton with a strong foundation in curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and the effective integration of educational technology. His lessons are designed to be engaging, student-centered, and rooted in real-world applications. He has a particular interest in cross-curricular learning and regularly designs opportunities for students to explore links between subjects in meaningful ways.

Before joining Middleton, Leonard served as a Primary Years Science and Humanities Specialist at Ras Al Khaimah Academy, where he co-developed a successful Design and Engineering ECA, and led professional development workshops on the use of AI in education. His commitment to innovation and excellence in teaching is evident in both his classroom practice and contributions to wider school life.

Having grown up in Singapore as a third-culture kid, Leonard understands the importance of cultural sensitivity and connection. He is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, respectful classroom environments where every student feels seen, valued, and inspired to grow.
