Catharin has been an ISTE Certified Early Childhood Educator for 5 years in an IB PYP – Reggio Emilia environment. She is passionate about books and cultivating a learning environment whilst promoting inquiry and collaboration.

Catharin has been in the EtonHouse Community for 5 years, performing the role of ICT Specialist at EtonHouse Thomson, before moving to the Tampines Campus to be the Teacher Librarian. She has both Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from India enabling her stint as an IT Professional in AON for 3 years, as well as a Master of Science in Information Studies (Library Track) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She is currently pursuing her PGCEi Certificate from the University of Nottingham. Her certifications range widely from ISTE, Common Sense media, Google, Microsoft, etc.

Catharin is originally from India but has been part of the Singapore ecosystem for 7 years, living with her husband and daughter. She is an avid reader and seizes any opportunities to further her learning. Catharin thrives around books in her personal library when at home but enjoys travel adventures with family, especially to Japan!
