Diana Leng
Secondary Teacher
Diana is a passionate and experienced teacher. Holding a Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese for Speakers of Other Languages from the esteemed Peking University in Beijing, China, she brings a wealth of expertise to her teaching role. Before pursuing her postgraduate studies, Diana completed her undergraduate degree in Social Science, majoring in Psychology, in Malaysia. This diverse academic background enriches her teaching approach, allowing her to understand and cater to the unique needs of her students.
With a rich history of teaching in various educational settings, Diana’s most recent position was as an IB and IGCSE Chinese teacher at an international school in Singapore. Now, she brings her passion to the Middleton community.
Diana always strives to create an immersive language environment to empower her students to learn language. With a deep understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches in Chinese language instruction, she adeptly navigates curriculum development, employs innovative teaching methodologies, and crafts personalised learning materials tailored to her students’ needs.
Beyond the classroom, Diana finds joy in exploring new cultures through travel and maintaining an active lifestyle through jogging, and she also enjoys cooking.
