Maria Tymosiewicz is an approachable and dedicated Humanities teacher, specializing in AS and A-Level Psychology, as well as History and Geography for Lower Secondary students.   

Maria’s teaching career began with a two-year stint in China, where she developed her skills and passion for education. Following her time in China, she has taught in various international schools in Singapore, gaining a deep understanding of diverse educational environments and student needs.

A firm believer in the power of collaboration, Maria places it at the forefront of her educational philosophy. She views teaching as a reciprocal process, where both teachers and students learn and grow together. This belief drives her to create a classroom atmosphere that encourages open communication, mutual respect, and shared learning experiences.

Outside the classroom, Maria enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, embracing opportunities to explore new cultures through food and travel. Her love for adventure and cultural exploration enriches her teaching, bringing real-world experiences and global perspectives into her lessons.
