Physical Education Teacher

Fairus is a dedicated Physical Education teacher with a diverse background in both teaching and coaching. He holds a degree in Physical Education and Sports Management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where he gained a solid foundation in physical education principles, health education, sports science and teaching methods. Fairus is also a certified football and indoor hockey coach. With over ten years of experience in the field, Fairus has taught a variety of age groups in local schools, designing engaging and dynamic lesson plans that encourage students to develop both physical skills and a love for movement, organizing sports events, and mentoring students in sports leadership.

At Middleton, Fairus is excited to contribute to the school’s commitment to physical education by fostering an environment where students can explore new activities, build teamwork, and learn the importance of leading an active, healthy lifestyle. He is particularly passionate about helping students develop confidence in their physical abilities, regardless of their starting point.

Outside of teaching, Fairus enjoys travelling, trying new foods and playing sports, which allows him to stay active and continue learning about physical fitness. Physical fitness and sports play crucial roles in overall well-being and personal development. This belief fuels Fairus’ dedication to inspiring students to lead active, healthy lifestyles and aligns with the beliefs and values of Middleton International School.
