Rosemary Ho
Class Teacher
Rosemary is a passionate and highly motivated teacher. She achieved her Bachelor of Education with Honours at the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom and began her teaching career specialising in refugee education with an inner London primary school. Rosemary holds a Certificate in supporting the learning of pupils with English as an additional language in multicultural settings and a
Certificate in Leading Primary EAL. She is certified to teach the Orton Gillingham phonics strategies for pre-school and primary school.
Following marriage, parenthood, and a move to Singapore, Rosemary immersed herself in new cultural experiences and was delighted to return to teaching at Middleton.
Rosemary establishes inclusive, engaging environments which resonate with teachers’ and parents’ vision of children as global citizens. She enjoys teaching in multicultural settings and places student well-being at the forefront of her practice by integrating mindfulness practice into her teaching.
Rosemary is committed to promoting the Middleton values of Respect, Resilience, Collaboration, Curiosity, Mindfulness, Adaptability, Confidence and Responsibility; emphasising children’s agency and growing self-awareness alongside academic achievement.
Outside the classroom, Rosemary can be found reading avidly. She loves walking in nature with her family and friends and has hiked around Kangaroo Island in Australia.
