Stefano Brandi
Class Teacher & Grades 3-5 Coordinator
Stefano Brandi is an experienced primary school teacher from Italy. He completed his BA in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation in 2013. During this period, he lived and studied for two years in England and Spain. Stefano then spent over one year travelling around Australia and Asia. During this trip, he volunteered as an English teacher in Laos and immediately fell in love with the profession. Once back in Europe, he continued his studies and specialised in international education and English as an Additional Language (EAL) students. He completed an MA in Education at the University of Nottingham, UK, and holds a PGCE.
In 2016, Stefano moved to Canada for a few months, working as a language teacher and completing a TESOL course focused on young learners. Subsequently, he relocated to Bogotá for a year, where he worked as a primary teacher in one of Colombia’s most prestigious schools. Following this impactful experience, he spent two years teaching in an international school in Tokyo, Japan. He then spent two years in Germany, working at the International School of Bremen as both a homeroom teacher and primary academic coordinator.
Stefano joined Middleton International School almost three years ago and currently holds the position of grade homeroom teacher and grade 3-5 coordinator. In 2022, Stefano completed an MEd in Educational Leadership. He loves to travel, play basketball, cook, and hike, especially when accompanied by his wife.
