
Syarifah Qistina Hany Binte Hazizi
Physical Education Teacher
Qistina is a passionate and dedicated Physical Education teacher with a strong background in both teaching and coaching. She holds both a Certificate and Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science, which have equipped her with the knowledge and expertise to create engaging, developmentally appropriate physical education programs. Her passion for continuous learning has led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminology at Murdoch University, allowing her to bring a well-rounded approach to teaching by understanding the psychological and social aspects of student development.
With experience teaching in various international schools across Singapore, Qistina brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her role. She strongly believes in the importance of creating a dynamic and inclusive environment where students can explore new physical activities, develop teamwork and social skills, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. She takes great joy in seeing students grow not only in their athletic abilities but also in their character — gaining resilience, collaboration, and a sense of accomplishment through sports and physical experiences. Her goal is to inspire students to embrace an active lifestyle while making PE lessons fun, engaging, and meaningful.
Beyond her role as an educator, Qistina enjoys travelling the world, experiencing different cultures, and giving back to the community through volunteering with the disabled and underprivileged. She is also an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys staying active and participating in various recreational experiences. Qistina is excited to be part of the Middleton community and looks forward to making a positive impact on her students by helping them discover the joy of movement, the importance of teamwork, and the lifelong benefits of physical experiences.
